Please read the following statement, then sign and return it with the Reservation Form. We do not accept registrations without consent from each Participant.
Assumption of Risk
I hereby waive and discharge Beach Travellers Inc. and any organization associated with Beach Travellers Inc. (including but not limited to hotels, inns, restaurants, travel agencies, and employees or associates thereof), from all liability as a result of my participation in a Beach Travellers Inc. trip. I understand that accidents, property damage, serious bodily injuries, and fatalities can occur during adventure travelling. Knowing that these risks exist, I agree to assume those risks and to release all the persons and entities mentioned above from liability for any property damage, injury, illness, or death occurring on any Beach Travellers Inc. tour or in the travel to and from them. Further more, I understand that if I chose to travel in the ocean, on highways, railways, roads, or streets not designated as part of the official tour, I do so at my own risk and release Beach Travellers Inc. from liability for any damages, injuries, or death that might occur to me or anyone else.
Deposits
Initial deposits are non-refundable. Trips for which a payment plan is in place, with set installment dates and amounts, all payments are non-refundable after the scheduled installment dates. Failure to make an installment by the scheduled due date will result in cancellation of the reservation. All Late Payment and Cancellation policies will apply from that point forward.
Payment Conditions
Full payment is due in our office at least 60 days prior to departure. No refunds within 60 days of departure. In the event of medical reasons preventing the traveller from participating on the trip, Beach Travellers will refund 50% of the trip price excluding the airfare in the event the ticket is non-refundable.
Late Payment and Cancellation
If payment is not received in our office by the due date, it will result in the cancellation of the Passenger. If payment is received late and there is space available, the passenger will be subject to a $45 reinstatement fee.
NSF Cheques
NSF cheques (including Account Closed, Stop Payment) will be subject to a $45 service charge in addition to the bank fees.
Variables
In addition, I release Beach Travellers Inc. from all damages and/or injuries as a result of weather or road conditions encountered before, during or after the trip.
Health and Safety
I affirm that I am physically fit and that I have no illnesses or conditions that put me at risk while on this trip. I also affirm that I have adequate medical insurance coverage for the duration of the tour.
Loss and Theft
I understand that Beach Travellers Inc. can not be held responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of any personal items brought on the trip.
Itinerary/Tour Changes
I understand that Beach Travellers Inc. can not be held responsible to refund airline fees or any other travel related expenses due to changes to itinerary or trip cancellation. Flight changes for extension of the original trip can be made 60 days before departure, by Beach Travellers for no extra charge. If the traveller desires to change their flight itinerary on any date other than the original booking request it is the sole responsibility of the traveller to change his or her flight itinerary with the airline. Flight changes are free but we do recommend you make any desired flight changes before original departure due to availability. Beach Travellers cannot be held responsible for to any fees or surcharges from the airline for late flight changes.
I understand and acknowledge that signing this waiver is binding on heirs and assigns. I have read and understand the above information and I confirm my compliance with my agreement to this waiver.
