Since I have been working with Beachtravellers, for the past 4 years my travels have been limited to our Costa Rica surf camps and travel trips. Every year I am lucky enough to spend a few months in this little country 10 degrees from the equator and while I wouldn't trade it for the world, this year I had a whole new experience to look forward to, Beach Travellers Brazil!

My first trip to South America was a refreshing change in a new country from the perspective of a traveller as well as a guide. Each and every day this place blows my mind with something new and truly has ignited the flame that makes us travel in the first place.

We may take our jobs for granted from time to time, but it only takes one night partying in Rio or watching the sun go down over a new beach in Floripa to make you see how small you are in this world. And while I won't see it all I sure can try.
