We have chosen each accommodation specifically according to the benefits surrounding it. From an air-conditioned Bangkok guesthouse designed to beat even the hottest city days, to unique stand-alone bungalows on the islands - our accommodation picks will not disappoint. We are very proud of the places that we stay, as countless hours have gone into researching so that we can provide the most authentic and unique Thailand experience. Remember that this is BACKPACKING!

Beach Travellers uses a variety of transportation including trains, ferries, buses, and long-tail boats. Each is a unique experience and has it.s own distinct Thai element to it. We do our very best to make all travel days as comfortable and entertaining as possible. Having travelled through countless locations and countries, we are continually bringing you new ways to enjoy these places, and sharing new secrets, tips and tricks for each one.

You'll step off the plane with racing hearts and hair on end and find out shortly all about the bang in Bangkok! We will take you around the city in Tuk-Tuks (three wheeled vehicles), visit temples, ease you into authentic Thai food, and experience the nightlife of the area that we stay in.

Next we venture into the jungles of Thailand to embark on an unforgettable experience. In Kanchanaburi we stay in floating huts on the river, so you'll fall asleep to the sound of the river flowing underneath you, then wake up and step off your balcony into the refreshing river. Here's where you'll dive into once in a lifetime adventures with elephants, tigers, a monstrous 7-layer waterfall and so on.

You'll wake up in your bed on the night train and hop in a van as we head out Railay, located on the western coast of the peninsula. It has a great Thai-Rasta feel that will slow your pace down and chill you out from the fast pace life you live at home. Your days here consist of whatever you will make of them. You may spend the days breaking open coconuts, playing Frisbee on the beach or basking in the sun working off that pearly Canadian tan earned throughout the winter.

The Koh Phi Phi islands are some of the most eye pleasing locations you may ever see. Although they are visited by a fair amount of travellers each year, you will soon realize why. Your days will be spent snorkelling, basking in the sun, and enjoying the entertainment of the local bands and fire spinners. On our BT boat trip you can snorkel, play frisbee and soak up the surroundings in some of the most beautiful waters in the world.

Next we take you back into the jungles of the majestic Khao Sok National Park. Amidst the jungle we include river tubing with the locals, and an overnight trip on a floating bungalow. This is a leap away from any crowds and is time to soak in the true beauty of this country. Wake up early to see the fog lift off the lake and retract up the mountains, then explore caves throughout the day and enjoy the clear lake water.

Koh Phangan is host to the infamous Full Moon Party. However this island offers so much more and we stay on a quiet secluded beach away from the wreckage of people shopping, partying and stepping on each other's feet. Relax just a short boat ride away from it all, so you can still head over for a visit to get massages and do all the shopping you want. We spend a fair chunk of time here, enough to experience what we think a cornerstone of what this majestic island has offer.

We arrive back in Bangkok giving you time to do some final shopping, say your goodbyes and head off to the airport. Your trip leaders will bring you to the airport and see you off at the end of your trip.
