3 Locations, with 6-8 different surf breaks and beaches for all levels of surfers. Whether a beginner or an intermediate surfer, this Costa Rica surf camp has been designed to ensure everyone takes their surfing skills to the next level. The following has been included in your overall camp experience;
• 1 on 1 Surf Coaching Everyday - morning progression sessions, afternoon freestyle clinics
• Technical Review Sessions - w/photos and video footage
• Membership to the Surfrider Foundation - www.surfrider.org
• 2 Canadian Surf Coaches - fun responsible, down-to-earth there to teach explore and travel with.
As well, a wide variety of other activites can be arranged at any time and are often provided; yoga, ziplines, waterfalls, spa and massages for surf muscle treatment, ATV missions, private coaching etc. |

| It’s pretty easy to get lost in the local culture and tropical scenery along the way. Travel days range from 2 – 5 hours. Local Central American bus travel days range from 8-15 hrs, too bad we don’t have to experience that at any point during our travels. We are cruising CR in luxury along with AC, IPOD’s, and pit stops whenever we please. |

| Every morning we are on the beach for a 15 – 25 minute theory lesson before jumping in the ocean. Everyday we teach something new to the group ie. standing up, duck diving, turning along the wave, rips and currents, surf edicatet, cutbacks and bottom turns etc. These lessons are for all levels of surfers and we spend 1-on-1 time with every surfer, everyday. However, some people are naturals and only need a few pointers… This set-up is for everyone! |

After 11 days in Costa Rica, Rebecca Affoo (Toronto – Aug ’08) is chasing after some good sized waves. After the camp, she went on to tackle Peru. Costa Rica was a perfect introduction to discovering the great waves that our world has to offer.

Enjoying the surrounding nightlife is a great way to top off a day in the surf, but keep in mind that 8am surf sessions are just around the corner. We won't give you a hard time for sleeping in cause this isn’t boot camp, it’s a worry free Central American Surf Camp. We are here to surf, travel, party and enjoy the pura vida lifestyle. |

| We often join up with the Costa Rica travel trip to help clean up the local beaches as a way of giving back to the community. The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit organization that works towards the common goal of keeping the beaches and oceans clean. |
